Ruger Eshop Refund & Return Policy
 
1. Firearms and Ammunition
  • Final Sale: All sales of firearms and ammunition are final. Once a firearm is transferred to you from a Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer, it cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Pre-Transfer Inspection: It is the buyer’s responsibility to thoroughly inspect the firearm. If a defect or damage is found, you must refuse the transfer and contact Ruger Eshop immediately.
  • Post-Transfer Issues: Any defects found after the transfer must be handled directly through Ruger Parts & Service under the manufacturer’s warranty.
 
2. Accessories, Sportswear, and Parts
  • 30-Day Window: Most non-firearm merchandise (e.g., holsters, clothing, magazines) can be returned within 30 days of the order shipment date.
  • Condition: Items must be in new, unused, and unaltered condition in their original manufacturer’s packaging. Used or installed merchandise is strictly non-refundable.
  • Restocking Fees: Non-defective returns may be subject to a restocking fee, typically ranging from 10% to 25% of the purchase price.
 
3. Return Process (RMA)
  • Authorization Required: You must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)number before shipping any items back. Packages received without an RMA may be refused or considered abandoned.
  • Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for all return shipping and insurance costs unless the return is due to a Ruger Eshop error (e.g., wrong item shipped).
  • Documentation: Include a copy of your original invoice and the Return/Exchange Form inside the package.
 
4. Cancellations and Refusals
  • Cancellation Fee: Orders canceled after placement but before shipment may incur a processing or restocking fee (often 10-15%).
  • Failed Transfers: If a firearm is returned because of a failed background check or state law restriction, the customer is responsible for original shipping, return shipping, and a restocking fee.
 
5. Refunds
  • Method: Approved refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.
  • Exclusions: Original shipping, handling fees, and FFL transfer fees are non-refundable
